Privacy Policy & Cookie Notice
The Padel Squad Ltd (“TPS”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This notice explains what data we collect through thepadelsquad.uk, how we use it, and your rights under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Who we are
The Padel Squad Ltd is a private limited company registered in England and Wales (company number 17111270), with its registered office at Oakwood House, Caenshill Road, Weybridge, England, KT13 0SW. For any privacy questions, contact matt@thepadelsquad.uk.
2. What we collect
We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the site and respond to enquiries.
- Information you give us: if you email us (for example via the contact link on the homepage), we receive your email address, name, and whatever you choose to tell us.
- Usage data: if and when Google Analytics is enabled, we receive aggregated, anonymised statistics about site traffic (pages viewed, approximate location, device type, referrer). This data does not identify you personally.
- Technical data: our hosting provider (Netlify) automatically logs standard web-server information such as IP address and user-agent for security and abuse prevention.
3. How we use your data
- To respond to enquiries and correspondence you initiate.
- To understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
- To keep the site secure and prevent abuse.
We do not sell your data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
4. Legal basis
We process personal data on the following UK GDPR bases: legitimate interests (running and improving the site, responding to business enquiries), consent (where you actively provide information, such as by emailing us), and legal obligation (where we must keep records for compliance).
5. Cookies
This site uses minimal cookies. We may use:
- Essential cookies — required for the site to function. No consent needed.
- Analytics cookies — if Google Analytics is enabled, it sets cookies to measure aggregated traffic. These are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site will still work.
6. How long we keep data
Email correspondence is retained for as long as it is useful for the business relationship, and then deleted. Analytics data is retained for the default Google Analytics retention period (currently 14 months) and then automatically deleted.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; ask us to delete your data; object to or restrict our processing; and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email matt@thepadelsquad.uk. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) if you believe we have mishandled your data.
8. Third parties
We rely on the following service providers, each of whom has their own privacy policy:
